loanna Gika is a Greek American musician, composer, and artist. Most recently Gika was the performer for the Dior show in Greece and went on to become the face and music of the campaign. Her lyrics were quoted by Booker Prize winner Arundhati Roy in her NY Times best selling book The Ministry Of Utmost Happiness.
Gika also wrote the score for Harmony Korine’s film ‘Rebel’, collaborated with ‘Game of Thrones’ composer Ramin Djawadi for Universal’s ‘Dracula’, created the score for a Louis Vuitton fall runway collection, and wrote a song that was shortlisted by the academy for ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’. loanna Gika completed her first solo tour opening for Deafheaven, Chelsea Wolfe, and others. Her first solo record Thalassa is out now on Sargent House.
