Brian Boa is the founder of Trading Places Records, an independent music label established in Belgium and now operating out of London. Since its inception, Trading Places has stepped away from the traditional record label format, delving into projects that explore the relationship between people and spaces. Through residencies in Los Angeles, London, and Belgium, as well as unique installations and sound design pieces, the label examines architectural codes in relation to nature and how these themes inform creativity.

Over the years, the label has also branched out into management services, working with a range of artists, including John Glacier, Pink Siifu and FKA Twigs. More recently, they’ve teamed up with renowned creatives such as Hassan Rahim, Martine Syms, and Andre Walker on a special project, continually bridging the gap between the music and art scenes.
